Mixed Pyrethrum Seeds

Painted daisies bring cheerful, daisy-like blooms in pink shades to a sunny border. This pack is probably pyrethrum (Tanacetum coccineum).

How to grow

• Sun: full sun to part shade; well-drained, moist soil
• Zones: 3-7; may be short-lived above zone 7
• Sow: start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost; press seed on the surface and do not cover
• Germination: 7-14 days at 70-80°F
• Height: 12-36 in
• Blooms: June-July
• Tip: some seed sellers note the seed may need winter chilling to sprout

A kind note: the photo shows pink daisies with yellow centers, and the plant could be a similar daisy type, so we are confirming it with our supplier. Perennials from seed may not bloom in their first year.
